Kapitel 2 · Für Editoren · Journeys bauen

Chapters & Lessons

💡

Chapter 1 — Ankommen: Lesson „Willkommensvideo“, Lesson „Unternehmenswerte“.
Chapter 2 — Werkzeuge: Lesson „E-Mail & Kalender“, Lesson „Projekt-Tool“, Lesson „Kurz-Quiz“.
Chapter 3 — Erste Schritte: Lesson „Dein erstes Ticket“, Lesson „Feedback-Runde“.

So geht's konkret

So geht's konkret: gliedern

Chapter 2 · For editors · Build journeys

Chapters & lessons

A journey is structured into chapters and lessons (steps). This structure turns a collection into a path.

Why this structure

Without structure, learning is an unsorted collection of material. Chapters and lessons turn it into a path with a beginning, a course and a goal. Progress becomes measurable (per completed lesson), stages create moments of success, and later you can specifically control what is unlocked when.

The two levels

ElementRole
ChapterA section with a title (multilingual) and position; bundles lessons.
LessonA single step (one content/product). Progress counts per completed lesson.

Example: an onboarding journey

💡

Chapter 1 — Arriving: lesson “Welcome video”, lesson “Company values”.
Chapter 2 — Tools: lesson “Email & calendar”, lesson “Project tool”, lesson “Short quiz”.
Chapter 3 — First steps: lesson “Your first ticket”, lesson “Feedback round”.
Three clear stages, 2–3 lessons each — manageable and with visible progress.

Step by step

Step by step: structure
  1. Create chaptersCreate chapters with titles and order them by position.
  2. Attach lessonsAssign products as steps to the chapters.
  3. OrderSort from the entry point to deepening.

What to watch

  • 3–7 stages per journey — don’t overload.
  • Meaningful chapter titles as signposts.
  • Every step contributes to the goal.
  • Even stages — not one huge chapter next to lots of tiny ones.

Troubleshooting

Progress doesn’t advance.

Progress counts per completed lesson. Check whether the lesson has completable content and whether an unlocking rule is (still) blocking the next step.

A lesson appears in the wrong order.

Correct the position of the chapter or lesson — sorting is by position, not by the time of creation.
