Wozu Sammlungen

Eine Sammlung fasst iDocs zu einer Einheit zusammen — etwa alle Protokolle eines Projekts oder alles Wissen zu einem Produkt. Zwei Vorteile: Ordnung in der Bibliothek, und Sie können bei KI fragen gezielt eine ganze Sammlung als Wissensbasis auswählen.

Denken Sie in Fragestellungen: Eine Sammlung ist dann gut geschnitten, wenn Sie später sinnvoll „alles dazu“ fragen können.

Worauf achten

  • Sprechende Namen — Sammlungen sind Wegweiser.
  • Nicht zu breit — eine Sammlung „Alles“ hilft bei Fragen nicht weiter.
  • Beim Verschieben von Dokumenten aus einer Sammlung heraus weist die Anwendung auf die Folgen hin — Hinweis lesen.

What collections are for

A collection groups iDocs into one unit — for instance all minutes of a project or all knowledge about a product. Two benefits: order in the library, and in Ask AI you can select a whole collection as the knowledge base.

Step by step

Creating a collection
  1. Open the libraryChoose Collection there.
  2. Create new collectionGive it a name.
  3. CreateThe collection is ready to be filled.

Think in questions: a collection is well cut if you can later sensibly ask “everything about this”.

What to watch

  • Meaningful names — collections are signposts.
  • Not too broad — a collection called “Everything” won't help with questions.
  • When moving documents out of a collection the application points out the consequences — read the note.
