Weg: Import

Nicht alles neu bauen: Inhalte aus anderen CAMPUS-Instanzen übernehmen oder externe Kurse (aktuell Coursera) mit Deckblatt als Product einbinden.

Wann dieser Weg

  • Wenn Inhalte bereits woanders existieren (zentrale Instanz, Coursera).
  • Um Doppelarbeit zu vermeiden.

Zwei Arten von Import

Instanz-Import

Ein Product wird aus einer anderen CAMPUS-Instanz übernommen — die Inhalte kommen tatsächlich in Ihre Instanz. Voraussetzung: kompatible Quelle.

Externe Verlinkung (Coursera)

Ein externer Kurs wird verlinkt, nicht kopiert. CAMPUS legt ein Product mit Deckblatt an; der eigentliche Kurs bleibt bei der Quelle.

Deckblatt: Bei verlinkten Inhalten ist das Deckblatt die CAMPUS-Seite, die den externen Kurs einbettet bzw. dorthin führt — inklusive Titel, Beschreibung und Einordnung in Ihre Kategorien.

  2. Quellekompatible Instanz bzw. Coursera-Anbindung wählen.
  3. Auswählen & übernehmenInhalte markieren, importieren.

Worauf achten

Troubleshooting

Die Quelle erscheint nicht zur Auswahl.

Prüfen, ob die Instanz kompatibel bzw. die Coursera-Anbindung eingerichtet ist (Admin/Super-Admin). Ohne das Recht Import products Management ist die Kachel gar nicht sichtbar.

Der importierte Kurs öffnet nicht.

Bei verlinkten (Coursera-)Inhalten liegt der Kurs extern — Erreichbarkeit und Lizenz/Zugang bei der Quelle prüfen.

Path: Import

Don’t build everything anew: adopt content from other CAMPUS instances or embed external courses (currently Coursera) with a cover page as a product.

When to use this path

  • When content already exists elsewhere (a central instance, Coursera).
  • To avoid duplicate work.

Two kinds of import

Instance import

A product is adopted from another CAMPUS instance — the content actually comes into your instance. Requirement: a compatible source.

External linking (Coursera)

An external course is linked, not copied. CAMPUS creates a product with a cover page; the actual course stays with the source.

Cover page: for linked content the cover page is the CAMPUS page that embeds the external course or leads to it — including title, description and classification in your categories.

  4. Finishing touchesCheck/add categories, language, access.

What to watch

  • Ensure the compatibility of the source.
  • Observe the rights/licences of external content.
  • Right required: Import products Management.

Troubleshooting

The source doesn’t appear for selection.

Check whether the instance is compatible or the Coursera connection is set up (admin/super admin). Without the right Import products Management the tile isn’t visible at all.

The imported course doesn’t open.

For linked (Coursera) content the course lives externally — check availability and licence/access at the source.
