Was es genau bewirkt

Wann vergeben

  • In kleinen, vertrauten Teams ohne strenges Vier-Augen-Prinzip.

Risiken & Worauf achten

⚠️

Kein Vier-Augen-Prinzip mehr. Wer selbst veröffentlicht, dessen Fehler gehen ungeprüft live. Für Compliance-/Außenkommunikation lieber die Trennung von Erstellen (Editor) und Freigeben (Reviewer) beibehalten.

So vergeben Sie es

So geht's konkret
  1. Nutzer öffnenUsers overview → Edit.
  2. Rolle „Admin"→ Tab Admin Settings.
  3. AktivierenAllow publishing own content anhaken.

Chapter 3 · For admins · Rights

Right: Publish own content

The Allow publishing own content right allows a person to publish their own (and group-less) content themselves — without a separate release by a reviewer.

Why it exists

In some teams it should be quick: whoever creates may also publish. This right allows exactly that — limited to their own content.

What it does exactly

With this right the person can move their own products directly into the published status (see approval workflow, field canPublish) — without the detour via “request approval”.

When to grant

  • In small, trusted teams without a strict four-eyes principle.
  • For non-critical content areas where speed matters more than a counter-check.

Risks & what to watch

⚠️

No more four-eyes principle. Whoever publishes themselves has their mistakes go live unchecked. For compliance/external communication, better keep the separation of creating (Editor) and releasing (Reviewer).

How to grant it

Step by step
  1. Open userUsers overview → Edit.
  2. Role “Admin”→ tab Admin Settings.
  3. Activatetick Allow publishing own content.
  4. Save.
