Warum die Auswahl alles entscheidet
KI fragen antwortet nur auf Basis dessen, was Sie auswählen. Das ist ein Vorteil, kein Mangel: Sie bestimmen, worauf sich die Antwort stützt — und schließen Irrelevantes aus.
Die Faustregel: So eng wie möglich, so breit wie nötig. Zu breit → allgemeine Antworten. Zu eng → die entscheidende Quelle fehlt.

Sammlungen für Fragen schneiden
Eine Sammlung ist dann gut geschnitten, wenn eine Frage der Form „alles zu …“ sinnvoll darauf passt. Bewährte Schnitte:
- Nach Vorgang: ein Projekt, ein Kunde, ein Produkt.
- Nach Dokumentart: alle Protokolle, alle Entscheidungen.
- Nach Zeitraum: ein Quartal, ein Jahrgang.
Eine Sammlung „Alles“ hilft bei Fragen nicht — sie ist dasselbe wie keine Auswahl.
Auswahl im Lauf des Gesprächs ändern
Merken Sie mitten im Dialog, dass eine Quelle fehlt: Auswahl anpassen oder für ein anderes Thema Neuen Chat starten. Das hält die Antworten sauber getrennt.

Why the selection decides everything
Ask AI answers only on the basis of what you select. That is an advantage, not a limitation: you decide what the answer rests on — and exclude the irrelevant.
Rule of thumb: as narrow as possible, as broad as necessary. Too broad → generic answers. Too narrow → the decisive source is missing.

Cutting collections for questions
A collection is well cut if a question of the form “everything about …” sensibly fits it. Proven cuts:
- By case: one project, one customer, one product.
- By document type: all minutes, all decisions.
- By period: one quarter, one intake.
A collection called “Everything” doesn't help with questions — it is the same as no selection.
Changing the selection mid-conversation
If you notice mid-dialogue that a source is missing: adjust the selection, or use Start new chat for a different topic. That keeps answers cleanly separated.
