Checking answers & limits
How reliable is an answer — and when does another route get you there faster?
Where the answer comes from
The answer rests exclusively on the iDocs you selected. It is therefore as good as your body of knowledge: what was never captured cannot be found — not even approximately.
A quick plausibility check
- Is the scope right? If the answer seems thinner than expected, the selection was probably too narrow.
- Take a sampleLook up one concrete statement in the source iDoc.
- Ask back“What is this based on?” — the answer reveals whether it is supported.
For critical statements — commitments to customers, deadlines, figures, anything legally relevant — always check the original. The summary is a tool, not a source.
When another route is better
| Situation | Better |
|---|---|
| You need a document, not an answer | Create a new iDoc with a suitable template |
| You want to know the same thing regularly | Build a template instead of asking each time |
| The knowledge isn't recorded anywhere | Capture it first — e.g. via audio |
| The result should be heard or shown | AI Studio |
What the AI does not do here
- It does not judge sources — whether an iDoc is factually correct remains your responsibility.
- It does not change documents. To edit, go into the iDoc.
- It sees nothing outside your selection — including other workspaces.
