🧭 Journey

Lernpfad, der mehrere Products in Chapters verknüpft — siehe Journeys bauen.

🎮 Atom (E-Learning)

Interaktives SCORM-/Storyline-Paket, eingebettet als Product — siehe Medien & Assets.

❓ Quiz / Self-Quiz / Poll

Wissenstest, Selbstreflexion oder Umfrage.

🗂️ Hub-Page

ElementZweck
BlöckeEigener Inhalt: Titel, Text, Bild, Karussell, Video, Einbettung, Container. (Siehe Edit-Mode.)
TeaserVerweise auf andere Products: Slider, Grid, Item-Listen. So entstehen Startseiten und Hub-Pages.

🧩

  • Konsistente Bausteine pro Typ — gleiche Seiten gleich aufbauen.
  • Hub-Pages kuratieren, nicht überladen — Orientierung vor Vollständigkeit.

Troubleshooting

Chapter 2 · For editors

The product types

“Product” is the umbrella term for very different content. Which type you choose determines appearance and features — from a simple article to a bookable seminar. This page helps you choose the right type and understand how pages are built.

Why the type matters

The type decides which fields and features a product brings: an event can be booked, a journey guides through steps, an atom plays an interactive e-learning. Wrong type = missing features. So first clarify the learning goal, then choose the type.

The types at a glance

📄 Article

Editorial content made of text, image and video. The all-rounder for knowledge.

🎓 Event / seminar

With bookable sessions and dates — in person, virtual or as a Live Stage.

🧭 Journey

A learning path linking several products into chapters — see Build journeys.

🎮 Atom (e-learning)

An interactive SCORM/Storyline package, embedded as a product — see Media & assets.

❓ Quiz / self-quiz / poll

Knowledge test, self-reflection or survey.

🗂️ Hub page

A curated overview that bundles several products by topic.

The types in detail

Each type has its own page with instructions and best practices:

How the layout comes about: blocks & teasers

Regardless of the type, you assemble the visible structure from two kinds of elements:

ElementPurpose
BlocksOwn content: title, text, image, carousel, video, embed, container. (See edit mode.)
TeasersReferences to other products: sliders, grids, item lists. This is how landing pages and hub pages are created.

Which type when?

GoalType

Learn together at a set dateEvent / seminar
Build up a topic step by stepJourney
Practise/simulate interactivelyAtom (e-learning)
Test knowledge / gather opinionsQuiz / self-quiz / poll
Bundle many contents in one placeHub page
🧩

A product can be several things at once: bookable, part of a journey and a shop item. The type is the starting point, not the boundary.

What to watch

  • Type suited to the goal — don’t force everything into an article.
  • Consistent building blocks per type — build the same pages the same way.
  • Curate hub pages, don’t overload them — orientation before completeness.

Troubleshooting

My product is missing the “Book” function.

Then it is not an event / not a product with sessions. Create an event or add sessions.

Can I change the type afterwards?

Only to a limited extent — often it is cleaner to recreate the product in the right type and carry the content over.
